Thank you to our wonderful funders who support our work with grants and donations. We don’t receive any money from the Government and without the support of these incredible organisations (and the support of the public too of course) we wouldn’t be able to continue to help people and animals escape from domestic abuse.

    The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust was set up in 1982 by philanthropist and animal lover Mrs Jean Sainsbury. Since the first donations were made in 1983. JSAWT has given over £12 million to animal welfare charities working both in the UK and abroad.

  • Chrissie’s Sunshine Appeal

    Chrissie Jackson founded Chrissie’s Sunshine Appeal after being diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic cancer in January 2019. Determined to make the most of every day, Chrissie’s aim was to raise as much money as possible for charities and good causes close to heart, in and around Cornwall – as well as spreading as much sunshine as she could.

  • National Lottery Reaching Communities

    Part of the wider National Lottery Community Fund, this ‘Reaching Communities’ programme offers funding to organisations that work with their community and is designed to support communities with the things that are important to them.

    The Norman Family Charitable Trust has been supporting charities and other non-profit groups in the South West of England since 1979. The Trust’s primary objective is to help registered charities and other non-profit or voluntary organisations working in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.

    Founded in 1994, the Petplan Charitable Trust (PCCT) has a simple mission to promote the health and welfare of animals in the UK and beyond. Funding comes from the generosity of pet owners, who can opt to give a small donation to the Trust when they take out or renew their policy with Petplan.

    As the largest organisation in the UK devoted to dog health, welfare and training, The Kennel Club’s objective is to ensure that dogs live healthy, happy lives with responsible owners. The Kennel Club Charitable Trust supports research into dog diseases and supports dog welfare charities including life-saving dog welfare projects.

    The Livewell Foundation was set up in December 2016 by Livewell Southwest CIC.  The Foundation currently supports projects and proposals that will have a transformational effect on communities living in Plymouth and South West Devon.
